As the inspiration for this idea came from the events that began in Italy, we definitely wanted a set that felt Italian with balconies. There was a pre-made environment from the Unreal Marketplace that Nickoel and Edoardo had known about from a previous project that suited this idea perfectly. It was a vintage looking seaside town set that was seemingly based off of the town Cinque Terre. And although it was not necessarily cartoon-y or stylised, it was not too realistic and seemed to fit with the rigs we had in mind.

Callum and Miko spent the pre-production time collecting props that seemed to suit the ideas from the references. And when Edoardo took over all the Unreal stuff so animators could focus solely on animation, he added more props and textures. Even adding simulated flags and clothes lines.
